Absolutely gorgeous water flow photos John! I recently purchased a variable ND filter – I’m hoping to get out to some moving water and capture that dreamy look which contrasts so nicely with the solid rocks.
Thats great Michael. I have never used variable ND filters, but I lots of photos really like them. I just have a bunch of 3 1/2 square ones that I stack and hold in front of the lens. I need to get one of those someday.
Well, you sure got the job done. As know their not cheap – mine was $140 which I bought a few months ago and haven’t used yet – I need to grab my tripod and make a day of capturing flowing water here, there and everywhere!
Thanks Michael, I am sure when you finally get to use that ND you’ll really enjoy it. Maybe some long exposure coastal exposures are in your future. Yep grab yer tripod and make a day (or several days) of it. I’ll be looking forward to your photographs.
