I can see a bit of a high-rise behind the trees – but how lovely that red house and the thankfully not ‘upgraded’ shops look! 🙂

Vancouver’s downtown buildings don’t change much. There seems to be some by-laws that limit destruction of older buildings and limits to the height of sky scrapers.

However, because of those limitations it is hard and very, very expensive to buy or rent. Vancouver is the most expensive place in Canada.
